Banyoro Pura Cepa

Banyoro Uganda is a new region in our offering. In addition to its uniqueness in profile, it has a unique processing story. This Banyoro is part of a Latorre & Dutch initiative called Pura Cepa, to improve coffee quality in coffee growing regions. They have process improvements in various countries, with the goal to increase the value of the coffee by several points.

In this particular case, the coffee undergo special processing called Fermentum Aqua. Coffee is placed in stainless steel tanks with anaerobic fermentation, where they control pH, time, PPM, temperature, sugar content, and bacteria.
