Finca Los Angeles

This farm, just outside of Buesaco in Narino, is a family project between Pastor and his nephew Jose. They work diligently to produce the best specialty coffee they can as a means to earning a better living for their families but also as a way to connect with the people outside of their tiny village. With over 3000 Geisha trees planted, they follow a standard processing practice resulting in a very clean 'terroir' coffee.

Rare Origin

BOH Finca Malraud

Our auction lot from Best of Honduras 2019, Late Harvest, hosted by our friends at Project Origin Coffee. This Pacamara Natural from producer Humberto Maldonado came in 4th rank.
Malraud Farms was founded in 2001. Humberto, an industrial engineer by trade, ventured into Flower plantation and later into Coffee plantation. He later combined the two, which made for a very unique coffee farm, with expected (and unexpected) benefits - insects and micro-organisms from both cultivars helped to enhance the respective crops. Coffees from the farm have since improved the farms standings in specialty coffee in Honduras (2017 COE Rank 14, 2018 Project Origin Best Of Rank 29, 2019 Project Origin Best Of Rank 4)
