For those familiar with the legendary coffee of Jose "Pocho" Gallardo, the mastermind behind Finca Nuguo, ANAM represents a distinct expression of the Jurútungo terroir.
Sitting at 1,600 masl, ANAM operates at a slightly lower altitude than the extreme elevations of the main Nuguo plots, but shares the same meticulous agronomy and processing standards that define Pocho’s reputation. Geographically, this plot is situated directly adjacent to Jurutungo Farm, benefiting from the area's specific microclimate and soil composition.
The plot carries a unique provenance: the name "ANAM" pays homage to the farm’s history as the it housed the dormitory for park rangers from the Autoridad Nacional del Ambiente.
This batch fermented on the farm in tanks for 7 days under shade with an average temperature of 23°C. It is then transported to David City to continue drying in a controlled room at a temperature of 26°C and put to rest with a humidity of 11.1%
