Starting his journey at age 15, he transitioned to specialty coffee at 20 and has since earned multiple national Cup of Excellence nominations. His commitment to quality is absolute; he even built a dedicated coffee laboratory on the farm to cup and classify every lot.
This "Striped Red Bourbon" microlot highlights Alexander’s expertise in controlled fermentation. The cherries underwent a 60-hour anaerobic fermentation in airtight barrels before being dried for 18 days in specialized sheds. The resulting cup is complex and vibrant, offering a balanced sensorial profile that showcases both the origin character and Alexander's craftsmanship. Expect a heavy sweetness reminiscent of fruit drops, complemented by bright raspberry and deep notes of red currant and peach.
